How much PC100 SD knock against can my PC pedal?

I enjoy an Intel Pentium III, 450 MHz (4.5 x 100) Katmai A80525 CPU and I would like to know how much RAM I can slot into it?

How much PC100 SD knock against can my PC pedal?

run a crucial memory scan
a moment ago go through the motherboard encyclopaedia, it will give you the required info, if you don't enjoy a manual turn out for it in the motherboard maker site.

cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go to http://www.crucial.com. They have a scan program that will scan your memory and tell you what memory is installed on your computer and how much you can upgrade to. Very adjectives. I use it all the time when repairing computers
What you want to know is the type of motherboard that you have. When the piece of equipment boots up, there is a long number explicitly posted on the bios screen, press lull key to stop the boot process. Write the number down and do a google search out on it. You should fine the vendor who produced the board. From within you should be able to determine the max amount of run into. It wll also depend ob how many spread out slots you have for memory. Most of the elder boards where restricted to 512mb of ram. If you currently enjoy 128mb and 3 open slots, catch 3 128mb dimms. If you have 2 slots and 256mb and individual one is open, get hold of 1 256 mb dimm. If you have 2 slots and 128mb, place the 128mb within slot 1 and buy a 256mb dimm. You will only own 384mb total but for Windows XP and older that will still be fine.
