Might find Vista.
How much video memory does the Intel 82845G Graphics Controller own?
It's an onbaord device that uses shared memory.
How much it uses can be assigned in the PC BIOS.
The Intel(R) 82845G graphics controller, also referred to as the Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV graphics controller, is the display adapter component of the Intel(R) 845G chipset family

Hope it helps.
You think through that these controllers are no longer made by Intel and are not supported. Going with Vista could be problematical surrounded by finding drivers.
As for how much video memory:
The maximum limit of video memory allocated by DVMT is dependent upon the total amount of system memory installed (see table 1).
Table 1 - Graphics Memory Allocations
System Memory Maximum Memory Allocated for Graphics
0-127 MB Unsupported
128 MB 32 MB
129 MB+ 64 MB1
About 64mb or 128mb depending on what variation you get. Stick too the NVIDIA Chipsets next to the AMD processors, they are a lot better.
32 mb
rockie
Correct answer is ZERO. It uses the SYSTEM strike, so it can be set to use 32,64,128, etc. But it will NOT make a difference surrounded by speed or performance.
As for vista you might want to read up on it first:

NOT a obedient OS at all, xp is far better. Just stay near xp. Just because vista is newer doesn't mean it's better. Just look up reviews on it. You'll see it's of late another Windows ME.
