I enjoy 2 1GB kingston DDR400 CL3 rams running contained by my PC. I slot them in alike colour DIMM sockets (I have 4 DIMM sockets, 2 black & 2 blue). How to determine whether my ram are running at Dual channel? Got any programs to check save for looking at the BIOS startup?
How to determine whether my ram are running Dual Channel ?
1. Check your BIOS setup. If the Dual Channel feature disabled, see it. This will surely guarantee your DIMM works on dual mode.
2. Check the BIOS POST Boot display. Look for the texts similar to: "Dual Channel enabled". Press delay key when booting to freeze the boot process, so you can help yourself to your time look for it.
