If you want to do gaming dont upgade the pocessor. Go for a unusual dual core processor PC. 3 things for good gaming, RAM (lots and lots of RAM) , the best and fastest video card you can afford and the fastest processor.
for a dutiful gamin performance try getting following computer hardwares...



processor : Intel / amd processors 64 bit 3ghz or above...

motherboard : asus for intel / msi for amd

strike : 1 gb

agp / pci express card : its a must for gaming...u may either buy nvidia geforce 7 series have 256 mb or ati radeons series 256 mb.



make sure if your motherboard have ago slot go for agp card or if it have pci express slot u need to buy one and only pci express card...

and a good hardisk have lotta space like 120gb...
