I recommend getting an external DVD drive. Plugs into a USB port and can write to a DVD R/W disk which stores 4.7 gigabytes at a time. Each DVD disk costs smaller quantity than a dollar, so it's a really cheap, and reliable, way to store facts.



An external DVD drive costs about $200. An internal DVD drive is closely cheaper, but you have to install it within your computer.
More Info is needed, if you are using XP Pro, it's built in, If you are using XP Home, you will own to install the backup program from the XP CD.. Good Luck

There are many, abundant different ways. There are online services; iOmega drives; Jump Drives, CD's...which ever you prefere...I personally use an IOmega Drive...it's an external Hard Drive that I can set up to automatically wager on up my files at what ever time interval I choose. Also, I keep some files that I may necessitate on a Jump Drive (you know one of those memory sticks you can get at WalMart or Target..severely cheap and work well for semi-important files). if you using windows OS next you can use a builtin software that named as BackUp



How to do Backup ?



Just dance to my computer and right click with drive you want to spinal column up then walk to properties and select tools and in tools picking you will get Backup Now prospect ofter the clicking back up alternative

it will ask you to option 1) Backup Files and setting and 2)restore files and settings , here you want to choose 1st one , 2nd one is to restore a files after protection up your files,
