How to find out my PC's age?
How to find out my PC's age?
If it's a Dell, you can enter the Service Tag number within their Warranty and System Config site, and it will tell when it shipped out of the factory.
You must own got the PC contained by a box, check the box to find out when it was first busy
Look at the CE Stamp, then look at the date on the chips, if they are in English, [most are as most be made for English speaking fix it places] The Chip stamps and the CPU that go beside it gives a two year 'window' into the age of Manufacture.
Clear the cmos setting by jersey setting on the Motherboard or remove and then fix the cmos battery-operated and start the computer and go to the bios setup by continusely hitting del switch on the key board ( F2, f12 etc.). and check the date showing contained by setup. automaticly the date goes vertebrae when it made.
Cut it in partially and count the rings, of course!!
assume that it have never been upgraded beside a new operating system -- click on the start button next click on My Computer then click on View system information and it will show you the date the operating system be installed. for all practical purposes to be exact the birthdate of your system
