How to build a Portable Powerpoint Player?

i want to build a powerpoint player. the aim is i dont want to carry my laptop around. it's reasonably old and bulky and filling therefore if anyone can suggest how to build one device that can play Powerpoint *.ppt files, after that'd be great! ive looked into mini-itxs but i find that they are too pricey for a simple device like the one i want.
