How does computer update its time evn when we switch rotten it?

Motherboard contains CMOS mobile which updates the time

just approaching the wall clock



Every time when system started it fetches time from system clock when ever you put sour your battery the time will reset .
internal battery-operated. like a cell phone does.
The motherboard have a clock built into it that is kept going by the CMOS Battery. If the CMOS Battery go bad or is removed, your time will reset.
here is a small clock battery inside the CPU
