How nifty is respectively core contained by a Pentium D processor?

I've be trying to research this for a while, and I can't find any official documentation on this. Say if you own a Pentium D 2.8, does each core run at 2.8 giving you 5.6? or respectively at 1.4 giving you a TOTAL of 2.8? I've seen it advertise both ways on ebay, but i think respectively core is half of the labeled speed. Please include a correlation so i can get this documentation. THANKS!!

How nifty is respectively core contained by a Pentium D processor?

Each is 2.8. With a combined power of 5.6
I do not know why you are thinking.

You are doing research bro.

Do it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.
It doesn't contribute each core of 2.8,one give 2.8 & the other gives around 2.0.But to verify a moment ago click on the start button, click on run, type

dxdiag. It will show you the speed of each processors.I suggest that you buy the Core 2 Duo processor. It have 1.86Ghz & 2.3Ghz variants. The 1.86 give processor gives a total of 3.82Ghz.Go for it.
