How oodles bytes are in that within a MB?and how masses MBs are here contained by a GB??I'm getting confused here....?

How oodles bytes are in that within a MB?and how masses MBs are here contained by a GB??I'm getting confused here....?

1,024 = 1 Kilobyte ("Kilo" means Thousand)

1,048,576 = 1 Megabyte ("Mega" channel Million).

1,073,741,824 = 1 Gigabyte ("Giga" means Billion).

1,099,511,627,776 = 1 Terrabyte (Terra finances Trillion).

A Gigabyte is roughly 1,000 Megabytes.

A Terrabyte is roughly 1,000 Gigabytes.

Since computers calculate within "binary" format, you have to multiply by squares of 2, so use this formula on your calculator:

Press "2"

Press "x"

Press "="

Keep pressing the "=" until you enjoy 7 digits displayed and you have 1 Megabyte.

Press "=" until you enjoy 10 digits displayed and you have 1 Gigabyte.

Press "=" until you own 13 digits displayed (if your calculator will go that high) and you own 1 Terrabyte.

Mack
1024
there are 1024bytes contained by 1MB, there is 1024MB contained by 1 Gigabyte and there is 1024 GB within 1 Terabyte(this is the latest count)
There is a 1,000 KBs surrounded by 1 MB and 1,000 MBs in 1 GB.
Try running the Windows Disk Cleanup thingy to free up some space.

MB and GB are slightly confusing because they're not completely standard. The traditional judgment is that 1KB = 1024 bytes, 1MB = 1024 KB, 1GB = 1024 MB. Hard drive manufacturers and some other family use 1000 instead.
