How copious years does a compaq computer finishing?

Like anything, that depends on the care\use given.
not a soul will know. it really depends on how reliable is the hardware components, the user and the rest is uncertain. on an average a computer will second 3-6 years.
The average age of any desktop computer is 4-5 years. I've experienced it with dell being shorter, near HP's longer. Compaq's are better then Dells, but inferior HP so should fall somewhere contained by between.



By how much you use your computer it should be around 3.5 - 4 years, to be fully operational. You could achieve another year out of it though.
I am running Compaq computers of 1995 through 2000, on http://pclinuxos.com and they hold on to up fine with my 1993 through 2001 Macs, and my Dells of 1995 through 2001.
